A Wolf in Horse Clothing is a quest consisting of a conversation about the legend of the Werepony of the Evershade Forest, available exclusively to Pegasus ponies. It is the second quest in the Foal Story Arc series of quests, starting from Foal Speed Ahead.
Quest initiation[]
After completing the tutorial, the player is instructed to meet their classmates at the top of the rainbow waterfall in Cloudopolis. The quest can be advanced by either talking to Hullabaloo Jr., Cirrus, Opal, Swiftly or Little Mercury.
Journal: Mister Windhover wants me to go meet my "crew," as he calls them. They like to meet at the top of the rainbow waterfall. I may as well go check it out.
- Go meet your classmates at the top of the rainbow waterfall.
Legend of the Werepony[]
The player joins in the conversation where the classmates are talking about flight. Cirrus then starts talking about the legend of the Werepony of the Evershade Forest, leading to a discussion. He believes that if the Werewolf Pony can be proven to be real, they will be known as heroes, and as such proposes a trip to the Evershade Forest. Opal, Swiftly and Little Mercury agrees to join Cirrus, while Hullabaloo Jr. declines. The player is then given a choice on whether to join the trip at that point of time, but regardless of the player's response, the player is told to meet at the Town Hall in Ponydale.
Quest Completion[]
At this point, the quest counts as completed and the player can proceed on to the next quest in the series, An Equestrian Werepony in the Evershade.
The player will receive 2 bitss and 300 XP in all talents upon completion of the quest.
Journal: Cirrus has convinced a few of his friends to investigate the legend of the Werepony of the Evershade Forest. It seems like a pretty dumb idea, but if I want to join in, they'll be meeting up at the Town Hall in Ponydale
