A Broken Phoenix Chest Plate is a resource item required to craft a Phoenix Chest Plate. It is part of the Broken Phoenix Armor set.
Obtaining[]
A Broken Phoenix Chest Plate can be obtained randomly while mining Titanium Ore in the Applewood Mines. Level 35 in the Mining talent is required to mine Titanium Ore. The room where Titanium Ore and Broken Phoenix Chest Plate can be mined is easy to recognize, as it is the only room with two level 46 Sandbearer Bats.
A Broken Phoenix Chest Plate can also be obtained by mining Sandstone. The player needs to be level 35 in the Mining talent to be able to obtain it, even if only level 12 is required to mine Sandstone.
Using a chisel to mine will increase the amount of time it takes to mine the Titanium Ore, but will also triple the chance to find rare items such as a Broken Phoenix Chest Plate.
Higher Mining level increases the chance of getting any Broken Phoenix piece. At level 35, Sandstone has a higher chance to drop the Broken Phoenix Chest Plate than Titanium Ore, but a few levels higher, the chance from Titanium Ore is higher.

Upon mining their first Broken Phoenix Chest Plate, the player will automatically learn the recipe to craft a Phoenix Chest Plate.
