The Dig Site Dungeon is accessed by a portal which is located at the Athmanes Ruins in The Heartlands. You can enter the dungeon by going through 2 difficulties: normal and hard.
This is a unique dungeon in which you can find the following unique items:
-Auralum billets (from pots and mobs) These billets can be redeemed for supplies and dungeon-exclusive equipment with Inspector Sand Spade or cashed-in at Alabaster inside the dungeon.
-Athmanian key (part 1 from lantern monster + part 2 from Haetea) that can be crafted at the magic cup shown in the image. The wall glows when you have both pieces of the key. The key grants access to the 2nd part of the dungeon.
Entering the Dig Site Dungeon and wandering through the tunnel you can pass to the corridor leading to the lvl 34 greater lantern monster (lvl 48 in HM). Another, left passage leads to the halls with diamond dogs, if you go a little further, you can go to the big cup and get into the room to the lvl 30 mini-boss Haetea (lvl 45 in HM), also with minions in the form of Husky and Corgi Diamond Dogs and a lvl55 Greater Lantern Monster Boss at the end of the dungeon.
After killing two mini-bosses the player gets the opportunity to create a key that opens a double door. The trial continues and the player is met by 3 lantern monsters
The next stage is a unique monster - Statue*. it can only be defeated by dodging its laser attacks by stepping on the illuminated plates on the floor.
In the lava zone the player can speak to a talking magical chest NPC named Alabaster, which for 4 Auralum Billets can grant random loot including the unique item from this dungeon Book of Asclopius. For 8 Auralum Billets Alabaster will offer 12k XP every 24h or 1.2k XP every time in a random talent: Mining, Artisan, Weather, Science, Magic, Combat, Farming, Animal Pet, etc. Alabaster can offer small hints of lore and info regarding the name of the Athmaneian princess, but refuses to talk further about the Rakashasa Incursions and other significant lore-related information.
After passing the obstacles on the way the player gets to the final boss: the Greater lantern monster, but with new unique mechanics. After defeating the boss, the trial ends with a demonstration of a timer for how long the dungeon has been completed.
-Kirin Horns can be enchanted into Imbued Kirin Horns at the Runic Basin. IKHs when equipped grant unicorns 3 new fire-based Magic abilities which require Fire Materia to cast. Frozen Essence Drops can be converted by a unicorn into Fire Materia at the lava zone near Alabaster in the 2nd part of the dungeon. There's also a secret area behind the lava fall with a smaller non talking chest that grants 25x Fire Materia(only Hardmode).
In groups of 2 or 3 players certain cave-ins disappear and certain square stone platforms can be activated by standing on them. They are found in the 2nd part of the dungeon after you use the Athmanian key. The first platform in the same room with the 3 lantern monsters makes the obstacle course move in slowmotion complete with a 2nd platform after the obstacle course to help the previous player. The second set of platforms helps you skip the statue challenge but requires 3 players to make 2 magical walls disappear and a 3rd to pass. It offers an easier challenge where you have to jump across a small corridor where the ground is magma.
The vases drop various items and have a very slim chance (1600 vases) to drop a glimmering runestone and a 1 in 20 chance to drop auralum billets. There are approximately 60 vases in the dungeon. Commonly they drop coal, tin ore, iron ore, copper ore. However there are 3 vases which guaranteed drop 1 auralum billets. 1st is located right in front the first dalmatian diamond dog when you take a left turn opposite of the Runic Basin, 2nd is located right behind the door that requires an Athmanian key to open. 3rd is located right after finishing the 1st moving walls obstacle course straight ahead.
Auralum billets farming tip(s): Avoid doing the 2nd part of the dungeon. Only go after the Haetea if you can kill it in 2 hits. Use /stuck command to teleport. Do only Hardmode/HM. Kill only the Greater Lantern miniboss and the dogs in the 1st room after the trapdoor. Do not go after vases.

Notes:[]
- Athmanian keys from your inventory are removed when you reach the final boss.
- Hardmode lowers the minibosses HP, but their damage is significantly boosted and each miniboss gives twice the billets.
- There's a bug where if you enter with multiple players and you re-enter the dungeon solo then all the mobs have their HP decreased by 10x.
