Farming

Farming is a talent exclusive to earth ponies.

Seeds are used by earth ponies to plant Crops and Flowers, while Geodes are used to farm various gems and Ores.

Farm Spots

There are 10 farming spots in total.

2 in Sweet Apple Orchard

6 in The Heartlands

Farming Spot at Middleway Village

Farming Spot at Wheat Farm

Farming Spot near aqueduct

Farming Spot near Cantermore

2 in White Tail Park

On basic level you can plant 8 seeds at each farming spot

Flowers

Flowers will wilt after one hour if they haven't been picked (unless you activate the Fuller Bloom skill; see table above).

Watering

Earth ponies can ask their pegasi friends to water their farming spots. Watered spot will yield around 40% more crops, and flowers will have higher chance to cross-pollinate.

Geodes

Geodes can be obtained from Klondike Hicks.

You need level 36 in farming to use them.

Once you have required level you can right click on geode and try to crack it.

It can crack and reveal gems or say that it needs more time to grow.

You get 360 xp in farming for every gem revealed from geode.

To successfully crack geode you need to wait minimum half hour.

Geodes won't grow if you have more then one in inventory.
