A food box is an item that can be bought from NPC merchant Rear Echelon or given to the player by Chef Linguine as part of the donations for the hospital in the Supplying the Hospital quest. If the player buys the item, it permanently renders one of the player's inventory slots useless as the item cannot be sold.
