Mobs are attackable entities in Legends of Equestria that are not controlled by players. They can be found scattered across wilderness and dungeon areas, often clustered around their designated spawn zones.
General Behaviour[edit | edit source]
Some mobs are aggressive, and will begin attacking the player once they are in range, or even travel towards players over a distance just to attack them. Such mobs include the Lantern Monster and the Dragon. Other mobs are neutral, and will not attack the player unless provoked. Such mobs include the Apple and Birch Dryads.
Combat[edit | edit source]
The combat level of the mob usually depends on the area they spawn in, rather than their species. For example, higher-levelled mobs tend to spawn in either the Evershade Forest or the Heartlands, while the Gem Mines are home to several lower level mobs. When defeated, mobs usually drop Bits, in addition to any other items that they might have.
The stats of most mobs can be derived from standard equations, though some mobs deviate from these rules. Note that all mobs above level 50 are referred to as Elite mobs.
Health[edit | edit source]
The typical average health of a mob at or below level 50, where n is the level of the mob, is given by
Average Health = 100n + 200, 0 < n ≤ 50
A mob above level 50 is an Elite mob, whose average health at level n is given by
Average Health = 100n2 - 4700n - 9800, n > 50
|Health||10 600||22 000||34 200||47 200||61 000||75 600||91 000||107 200|
Experience[edit | edit source]
If a single talent is used to take down a mob, the peak standard Experience awarded is given by
Peak Experience = 11n + 44, n > 0
Note that a percentage penalty may apply if the player's combat level differs from the mob's combat level by more than 5.
