The quest It Makes Sense To Me can be started by talking to Gypsum in the Crystal Library. It is about the newest discoveries of Gypsum and that she wants the player to inform Silicon about it.

Quest Initiation[]

Gypsum can be found in the Crystal Library, located at the second Ring Northwest between West-Northwest Avenue and North-Northwest Street. She requests the player to do her a favor, by relaying some research to her colleague Silicon. Gypsum will then share two pieces of information where the player would have to take note of, as the player would have to relay the exact information to Silicon later. She promises the player fresh strawberry tortes in return.

Journal: Gypsum, a local alchemist, wants me to relay some scientific research to her colleague Silicon. Hopefully, I remember everything.

  • Talk to Silicon.

Relaying the research[]

Silicon can be found on the outer ring in the very north of the Crystal Kingdom, together with Halite. The player would have to share the research information given by Gypsum exactly, this can be done by choosing the correct option out of the two options given for each piece of information:

  • The first correct answer refers to a "3-3-3-5 solution".
  • The second correct answer refers to "a picture of two spirits colliding".

After some further exchange between Silicon and Halite on understanding the second piece of information, Silicon remarks to the player about how sometimes they are unable to understand what Gypsum is trying to tell them, but also tell her about the good news.

Journal: I should go back to Gypsum and tell her what Silicon thought of the reports.

  • Return to Gypsum.

Quest completion[]

When the player returns to Gypsum to share the good news, the player will also comment that Silicon preferred her speaking plain Equestrian. Gypsum will then explain to the player on why she speaks that way, but the player will convince her on the importance of helping others in ways that they can understand. She concurs with the player in the end, and rewards the player with five strawberry tortes as promised. The player also gains 150 XP in all talents.

Journal: I relayed the information from Gypsum to Silicon and delivered the answer back. In exchange, Gypsum shared his strawberry cakes with me!
