Weather

Weather is a pegasus-exclusive Talent which allows using elemental attacks in battle at a certain distance. But for now, there is no Weather Talent Mark Quest. In order to use an elementary attack, you must have in your inventory Vapor Materia for water attacks and Energy Materia for rest, which can be obtained through science. Weather skills requires a Weather pendant to be worn. There is 3 types of those: Arc Pendant, Vortex Pendant and Cloudburst Pendant. Depending on the pendant that you wear you can use either bolt, rush or burst attacks.

Gaining experience[]

Weather experience can be gained only by pegasi, through magic-related skills in combat to defeat a mob.

Quests often also award players experience in all talents upon completion, allowing pegasus players to advance in the Weather talent in addition to other talents.

Watering[]

Pegasi can use Water Bolt, Water Rush, or Water Burst to water farming patches. An earth pony needs to plant seeds in the farming patch first, then a pegasus can water it by using Water Bolt, Water Rush, or Water Burst close to the farming patch. Note: In order to use Water Bolt to water a farming patch, the pegasus must target a pony or pet close to the farming patch itself; alternately, the pegasus can stand on the patch and target themselves to accomplish the deed. Watering grown crops or flowers will not work, as the growing period has ended.

The earth pony and the pegasus need to be in same instance for watering to work. One use of Water Bolt, Water Rush, or Water Burst can water a farming patch for multiple earth ponies. Pegasi will not receive any indication that they've successfully watered a farming patch, neither from visual cue nor chat-box alert. Earth ponies will get a system message that their farming patch has been watered. Once watered, the farming patch will also appear a darker brown to the earth pony.
